I am going to dub my genre of music "emu" music. It's a bit of an inside joke, but the fact of the matter is that it probably wouldn't fit into an existing genre.
Elements of glitch-pop, ambient, shoegazer, post-progressive rock, with hints of blues, bluegrass, and hip-hop.
Just purchased a Glidecam 4000 and Vest/Arm for supporting it. Not bad at $1100, so I'm now setting up, balancing, and ready to test. For that, this video has proven extremely useful:
